Time is the one thing in life that you can never get back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. In today’s fast-paced world, even though it seems like we’re working 24/7, are we really making the best use of our time?..
One of the most crucial aspects of our lives that require mastering is that of managing our time effectively.
I personally have been so swamped with the multiple roles that I play, namely, being an employee, a mother, a wife, a writer, a minister, a sister, a daughter, a friend and whatever else I find myself thrown in the mix of. I was barely coping with the pressure that is exerted upon my shoulders by each one of these responsibilities respectively.
It then dawned on me that all these roles, as equally important as they may be but they are not uniquely exclusive to me. How is it then that there are millions of persons, women in particular, who are able to function in these roles seamlessly?
The real reason to this lies in their ability to effectively manage their time as well as timeous allocation of how much time is required by each. We have in us all an in-built capacity to function in whatever role effectively, if we only managed better the commodity that is TIME.
Easier said than done, admittedly, but it is also not impossible…
If we learnt the art of better time management we could achieve far more results than we realise while excelling in our roles that life has gifted us with. Whatever it is that one envisages to achieve, it is only possible through proper allocation of the resource that is time. It just requires adequate planning and proper time allocation.
This blog post is merely to encourage each one of us that we could ultimately get so much more done if we just organised ourselves better.
Yours in inspiration,
