Your weight, complexion, hair texture/colour, shoe or jean size doesn’t define you but these are bonuses to who you already are. Our body is just a box that carries our true beings, meaning it doesn’t have a significant stamp on our lives. Our body is mere flesh which can be altered and changed to the size or shape based on what you want with it. This same body of ours changes through time as years go by, so even if you might believe it’s not in its ‘perfect’ form now – in the end it will loose its form through time. This is not to imply that you shouldn’t treat your body well, but I aim to simply give you an understanding of its insignificance in who we are.
However significant or insignificant it might be, treating it the way it should has a significant part in your livelihood. Truth is it’s the way you treat it that determines how you see yourself or rate your esteem. This then leads me to my second point of letting this beautiful box which carries our true selves become an adjective onto the noun which is us. How you do that is by firstly appreciating yourself as a person then appreciating your beautiful body by treating it right and letting it bring out your character. To use it as a tool in which you express yourself rather than letting it represent yourself. As the famous Kim Kardashian says: “I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin.”
Let your body accentuate your being. Let those hips and curves be your pride as a woman and let no one tell you otherwise. Let it be a like a crown on your head that you wear to make a statement that you are queen.
Let it empower you even more because no one has this body but you. You have the ability to create and bring life into the world which is simply a significance of the power that you as the woman possess. So own that power and use your body as a tool to bring to life your true calling in this earth.
Woman you are queen 👑
Yours in All Encouragement,
