A Love Letter

Visiting Blogger
Your favorite blogger is still very single so there will definitely be no mushy Valentine’s Day inspired blog post from me this year, but I am always ready to celebrate love ❤️ Besides, I love ❤️ A LOT of people so there is always reason to celebrate love ❤️

What I do miss about Valentine’s Day and dating (when I was younger) were the love ❤️ letters. They were so magical. Getting one from a secret admirer gave me the same feeling I get now from ewallets 😂😍 Back then a love ❤️ letter was a special piece of paper that you could read over and over again, that you could touch and smell and looking at it alone would just make you so happy. I think I’d be really happy if I received one (hint hint) but until then, I decided that I’m going to spend sometime writing love ❤️ letters to those closest to my heart. It didn’t take me even half a second to figure out who the first letter would be for, so I started writing it immediately…

Dear Culolami ❤

Culo la Aunty B, elimnandi🎶 Culolakhe, Culolethu kwa Mazibuko. I just want to begin by saying how much I love you ❤️  I love you sooo much (more than Beyoncé and that’s a lot of love). And for as long as you live, no matter what happens, even while I give you a hiding for doing wrong (because you are already naughty and you’re only 2 years old), I LOVE YOU, and you must never, ever doubt that. You came into my life like a storm, and like how all storms end, you turned into a beautiful rainbow. A rainbow that I am obsessed with, whose colours fill all the dull spaces in my life. When I’m having a bad day I look at your pictures and watch your videos and I immediately smile. I see your face or hear your voice and my face lights up like a bulb. You can barely even speak but you’re able to make my whole day with your infectious giggle and beautiful smile (surely you got that from me). You have so many teeth now, just yesterday I was crying because you were so tiny & I was scared to hold you. I can just imagine how great it’ll be when you can talk, you’ll be so annoyed because I will want to call you for hours. I hope you know how to sing because you’re like music to me. You make everything better. You soothe my soul. Your name means song, and you are my favourite one. I can’t imagine life without you. I can’t wait to watch you grow and become a beautiful, intelligent black woman. I can’t wait to see you unleash your magic. I’ll be by your side, supporting you, rooting for you, being your number one cheerleader, (although there will be many of us fighting for this spot and your mom will probably end up being number one). I wish you a long life and good health. I wish you peace and happiness. May God bless you always and keep you safe for me.

I love you, I love you, I love you.

Your favorite Aunty
Bubu

I hope your pen and paper is ready for you to start writing yours.

P.S. Don’t forget to DM or Inbox your crushes today. Have a fabulous Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Spread love ❤️
